What Sold on Ebay- March 17-April 7, 2024
Here’s a look at what sold on eBay for March 17- April 7, 2024. I’m a little behind in posting my sales again, so I’m combining the last couple of weeks into this update.
What Sold on eBay
These Donald Trump socks were a freebie for me. I was given seven brand-new packs of these socks, so I didn’t pay a thing. I listed them at $9.99 a pack and sold one pack the same evening! I figured these would be a hard sell for a few reasons. These have a 2020 date on the socks, but that didn’t stop one buyer! I still have six packs left, so we will see if I can sell the rest of them.
These penguin pajamas were actually my own, and I wore them a couple of times. I loved them, but they were polyester, and it felt weird when I wore them. They were practically new, so I listed them and sold the pajamas for $11.00. This Joyspun brand is actually a great seller at Walmart, and it sells on eBay as well. Before I started this blog, I had previously sold another set by this brand. It’s an excellent item to be looking out for. (BOLO)
This vintage needlework piece is an item I have had in my inventory for at least three years now. I picked it up at my favorite local thrift store and paid ten cents. It sold for a best offer of $12.00. I honestly thought about donating this piece back to the thrift store because I thought it would never sell, but then it did! I was happy someone wanted it because it is a beautiful vintage piece! I’m sure it would look lovely framed.
The last item that sold was this new, unopened bottle of Ester-C. This was another one of my personal items. I bought it at the beginning of the year, thinking I needed more vitamin C and that this might help my immunity. I decided to go with another supplement, so I listed this, and it sold within two days! This was in my “to list pile” for a few months and ended up being a quick seller! Just goes to show that I shouldn’t delay listing things! I think what discouraged me is that so many bottles of this are for sale on eBay. This was the one item I did offer free shipping on. Maybe that made a difference. I’m sure I didn’t get what I originally paid for it, but some money is better than no money!
eBay Sold By The Numbers
Total Items Listed– 130
Total Items Sold- 4
Fees- $17.59
Final Profit- $32.39
As far as fees go, I have a basic store, but I do promote my items to the percentage that eBay suggests.
Final Thoughts
Gosh, these fees are killer! These weren’t high-value items, but it sure sucks the wind out of your sails (sales! ha!) when you barely make enough to justify even listing these items. But, money is money, and I have four items out the door!
