What Sold on eBay- February 18-24, 2024
Here’s another addition of What Sold on eBay for the week of February 18-24. I like to do these posts to hold myself accountable for keeping up with the numbers and challenging myself to look for similar things when I go sourcing.
I’m afraid this week’s update of what sold won’t be very exciting because I only sold one item. Yep, just one. This isn’t surprising to me, considering my store is small, and I have had weeks go by and nothing has sold. That’s why building up my inventory is so important right now. I have noticed that sellers who do pretty well on eBay have hundreds, and some even thousands, of items listed at one time. This ups the odds that at least a few items will sell each week. Of course, it does depend on what you sell.
This week, I sold a Quacker Factory top for $12.99. I paid $1.00 for it at my favorite thrift store. So, I really made only $7.00 when all is said and done. It’s hardly impressive, but a sale is a sale. That’s $7.00 more than I had.
eBay Sold By The Numbers
Total Items Listed– 109
Total Items Sold- 1
Fees- 4.87
Final Profit- $8.12
As far as fees go, I have a basic store, but I do promote my items to the percentage that eBay suggests.
Final Thoughts– I mentioned in my last What Sold post that I’ve noticed that the fees are taking a big chunk out of my profits, and this was definitely the case with this shirt. It wasn’t expensive, to begin with, but it’s almost not worth it when you make less than $10.
